The conference will be held in the Hotel "Real de Minas", which has at our disposition a large lecture hall for the plenary talks and up to five other meeting rooms for parallel sessions. Talks may be presented either with a laptop computer and data projector, or with an overhead projector. No blackboard will be available.

Participation

Plenary lectures at the conference will be given by a special invitation of the Organizing Committee.
Regular participants are expected to give 25 min. contributed talks. All interested to participate at the conference are welcomed to register.

Registration

On site registration will start on Sunday, September 20, 2009 from 18:00 to 21:00 at "Salon Azul" of Hotel "Real de Minas", and will continue during the conference.
The registration fee for the conference is 160 USD.
In exceptional cases and subject to a preliminary agreement with the Organizing Committee, the registration fee can be payed during on site registration.

A recommended option is to have the lunch provided for conference participants and accompanying persons at "Salon Valenciana" of Hotel "Real de Minas" (100 MXN a day per person, to be payed during on site registration).

Financial Support

A limited amount of funds is available for a partial support of postgraduate students.
Depending on number of applicants, such a support may include bus tickets, free accommodation in CIMATEL (the CIMAT hotel), a lunch, and the reduced registration fee of 40 USD.
To apply for a support please contact the Organizers at iwota@cimat.mx not later than July 30, 2009.

Additional funds have now been received from the National Science Foundation (USA), to provide travel support to up to ten graduate students, ten postdocs, and ten junior operator theorists in the United States who do not have support from NSF or other sources. In the selection of travel awards, special consideration will be given to women and members of underrepresented groups in the mathematical sciences.
To apply for these funds, please send e-mail to Raul Curto at rcurto@math.uiowa.edu .
